Choices of Suffering and Thought

Thinking or overthinking

Suffering or enduring,

Are these choices we control,

Or is it beyond our knowing?

We are part of the different people around us

Shaped by their errors, profound

Until we grasp our own way,

And realize where we sway.

In the moments that we lend,

Our essence to others, a blend,

We sometimes lose sight of who we are,

And find ourselves wandering far.

While smiles may grace our faces once more,

What’s lost may never be fully restored.
